Why Plant Churches

Why do we need more churches? Well the answer is simple; history shows that planting new churches is one of the most effective ways of reaching the lost world for Jesus Christ.

Listed below are a few resources on this topic. Check them out and see why we feel that there is a great need to plant more churches.

Why Plant Churches by Tim Keller

Established Churches

Thanks for checking out this tab. If you are a pastor or leader of an established church, we would love the opportunity to share with you about church planting in our area and ways that you could get involved.

There are many ways to help sponsor a church plant and most of them do not involve writing a check every month. Church planters have many needs that the established church may have readily available, such as office space, worship space, Lord's Supper supplies, equipment, and even mission-minded workers.

Below there are a couple of links on how the established church can help in church planting efforts. Again, we would love to hear from you so please contact us!

The NAMB Send Network has a lot of great articles for church leaders.

Making it Legal

There are many stresses that come along with the job of church planting but making everything legal has to be towards the top of the list.

Another great resource is Guidestone.

Payroll

It is crucial that your payroll is on the up-and-up. Having a CPA friend is always a plus, but when you don't have one of those, there are a lot of good resources out there.

There are certain things that have to be done bi-weekly, monthly, or quarterly depending on the total payroll of the church. It is very important to have all of your ducks in a row so that you don't have the IRS knocking at your door. You can rack up some pretty hefty fines if you do not file things on time.

Please contact Adam if you have any questions regarding payroll.

Guidestone is a great resource for many things when it comes to a minister's salary and compensation.
