Michael Haynes

Mike came to the Association in 1998. Prior to directing the Association, Mike pastored in the Kansas City area for twenty years. Mike and his wife, Robbi, are members of Hope and Anchor Church. Mike and Robbi love to travel and Mike enjoys golf and fly-fishing. They have two children and five grandchildren.

Rev. Samuel Gonzalez

Director of Ethnic and Church Missions
 
Samuel was born in Guadalajara, Mexico. He began working for the Association in 2003. Prior to that, he pastored for many years and worked for Missouri Baptist Convention in ethnic church planting. Samuel and his wife, Judith, are founding members of Casa de Oración mission. They have two children and five grandchildren. Samuel enjoys playing basketball and cheering for the Chivas (soccer team from Guadalajara).

Rev. David Jackson

Director of Grand Oak Mission Center
 
David served as an associate staff member and pastor for 30 years in Oklahoma and Missouri before coming to Grand Oak Mission Center. David and his wife Kathy are members at Second Baptist Church in Springfield. They have one daughter, Traci, who is married to Devin Pritchard and resides in Rogersville, Missouri and one grandson Henry.

David enjoys sports of all kinds, especially golf, tennis and baseball. He also enjoys building projects, the arts and participating in missions.
 

Mrs. Burnace Smith

Office Manager and Administrative Assistant
 
Burnace has served with the Association as Financial Secretary since 2004. Burnace has served with the International Mission Board as a journeyman in Zimbabwe. She and her husband, Ed, have two children, a son-in-law, and one granddaughter. Burnace and her husband are members of Temple Baptist Church, where she teaches preschool Sunday School. Burnace enjoys reading and babysitting her granddaughter.

Mrs. Patti Irvin

Ministry Assistant
 
Patti and her husband, Doug, served with the IMB overseas for 7 years. Now living in Republic, MO, Doug is Senior Pastor of Glenstone Baptist Church, Springfield. They have 2 daughters and 7 grandchildren. Patti loves to travel and shopping.

Rev. Doug Watson

Youth Ministry Consultant
 
Doug has been involved in youth ministry in the Association, including YouthQuake, since coming back to the area in 1994. He has served for more than 30 years as a Youth Pastor or Associate Pastor in the local church. In 2005, he moved into a part-time missionary position with the regional 417 Youth Leaders Network. Doug is married to Clydene and they have four children and two grandchildren. He also is the part-time Worship Pastor for Glenstone Baptist Church in Springfield, and works bi-vocationally for Consumer Credit Counseling Service of the Ozarks. Doug enjoys hunting, fishing, golf, playing guitar and spending time with his family.

Dr. Bob Perry

Director of Church Health
 
Bob has served as a foreign missionary in Mexico and a pastor and Director of Associational Missions in Missouri and Virginia. For the past 30 years he has been a consultant and writer for churches and associations and has written on the subject of church health and planning. Bob and his wife Marilyn have three sons and four grandchildren. They enjoy travelling, reading, writing, swimming and walking in the woods at their home near Willard.
